Jack Hayes as an American composer and orchestrator. He was twice nominated for an Academy Award, for The Unsinkable Molly Brown in 1964 and for The Color Purple in 1985. He ha worked on more than 200 films during a Hollywood career that spanned 60 years.
Hayes died on August 24,2011 of natural causes. He was 92.

Fred Steiner was an American composer, conductor, orchestrator, film historian and arranger for television, radio and film. Steiner wrote the theme music for The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, Perry Mason and The Bullwinkle Show. In film, Steiner was one of the team of composers for the 1985 film, The Color Purple, which received an Oscar nomination and was an uncredited composer for Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Steiner was most active in television series during the 1950s and 1960s. His numerous composition credits included music for Hogan’s Heroes, Have Gun–Will Travel, The Twilight Zone,Gunsmoke, Star Trek and Rawhide.
Fred Steiner died on June 23, 2011, at his home in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, after suffering a stroke at the age of 88.

Martin died on March 11, 2011 at his home in California. He was 96.
Hugh Martin was an American musical theater and film composer, arranger, vocal coach, and playwright. He is best known for his score for the classic 1944 MGM musical Meet Me In St. Louis, in which Judy Garland sang three Martin songs, “The Boy Next Door,” “The Trolley Song,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” The last of these has become a Christmas season standard in the United States and around the English-speaking world and is widely considered one of the greatest Christmas songs of all-time.

John Barry died of a heart attack on 30 January 2011 at his Oyster Bay home aged 77 years.
John Barry was an Oscar-winning English film score composer. He was best known for composing 11 James Bond soundtracks and was hugely influential on the musical style of the 007 series. In a career spanning almost 50 years, Barry received numerous awards for his work, including five Academy Awards.
