Died November 15, 2009. Born July 3, 1957. Best known as the host of MTV’s late-1980s game show Remote Control.

Rod Roddy

Roddy was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2001 and breast cancer in 2003.  He continued to announce for The Price Is Right until his hospitalization just two months prior to his demise. Roddy died on October 27, 2003, his final appearance aired on October 20, 2003 just six days before his death.
